Native Citrus - New Varieties

Citrus Gems is a collection of citrus native to Australia with reliable, vivid and flavoursome fruit. Known and enjoyed for centuries by indigenous Australian’s native limes are now hugely popular with the domestic gardener through to the professional chef.

Citrus Gems are a group of adaptable, quirky trees, uniquely Australian and tolerant of a wide range of conditions. They are suited to both pot and garden cultivation.

Citrus Gems are extremely hardy and tolerant of frost and dry conditions.

Sunrise Lime is a cross between a finger lime and calamondin and produces an elegant pear-shaped golden fruit that is juicy and sharp in flavour. The fruit can be eaten whole as the skin and pith is sweet and is winter fruiting.

Rainforest Pearl (Finger lime) Cylindrical, finger sized and shaped fruit which is usually produced in autumn. Fragrant thin green skin blushed with crimson. Slice fruit open to reveal a vault of glistening citrus pearls bursting with juicy limey flavours.

Green Sapphire (Finger Lime) has an endearing willowy habit, soft, light coloured foliage and produces large green finger limes that bulge with juicy, glistening green citrus pearls appearing in autumn.

Citrus Splitzer® is two citrus varieties grafted onto one tree. The varieties we have used are the most compatible, the best performing and tasting citrus and are grafted onto premium rootstock.

Lemonade: a vigorous, heavy cropping tree with fruit similar in appearance to a lemon but with a lower acid ‘lemonade’ flavour when eaten fresh or juiced. Winter ripening.

Dwarf Citrus has been grafted onto Flying Dragon Rootstock, making it by Australian and International standard a true Dwarf citrus. This rootstock inhibits the overall size of the citrus tree but does not restrict fruit size or crop yield making it perfect for pots or the garden growing to 1.5m-2m high.

Plus all your old favourite citrus varieties.

Don’t forget to treat your garden with SaturAid, Water Crystals and Sugar Cane to keep them healthy in the dry weather, like what we experienced over the summer.
